Sexy Chemises
One of my favourite departmemts our Sexy Chemises and they are some of our Best Sellers. One of the simplest of garmemts, the chemise has existed in one form or another for thousands of years. Usually constructed from two rectangular pieces of fabric sewn at the shoulders and sides, it can be collarless and sleeveless. Designers using satin, silk, lace, fishnet, lycra and cotton some with lavish decoration. Before the 19th century the chemise was also known as a smock and was worn as an undergarment. Now we love to wear a sexy chemise or sheer chemise as night wear for the bedroom. During the 19th century, the chemise became a shirt-like blouse. This changed In the early 20th century the chemise shape was adapted by many designers. Chanel was one of the first to crate a chemise dress: simple, loose garments with long sleeves and a belt that tied under the bust, around the waist or at the hips. Lanvin, Paquin and Worth also designed chemise dresses. In the 1950s a loose dress, based on the chemise, appeared in Balenciaga's collections. Now our Sexy Chemise Collection for this year will be flooding out the door. Our designers creating the most sexy chemises ever.
